This one is titled Samsara. Samsara in Buddhism describes the cycle of life and suffering. Its literal translation is “to flow on”. The endless knot, which forms the underlying structure of the drawing, is one of the symbols that represent this cycle in Buddhism. As we pass through states of existence we experience samsara. However, in our modern day, samsara is experienced quite differently than it was at the time of the Buddha.
